Wall of Sound is a student project I realized at the Stuttgart Media University (HdM) in Germany in 2008. It’s a touchscreen music sequencer application which allows the user create music by placing, touching and modifying different virtual objects on the canvas. The setup consists of a DirectX application which sends MIDI data to a Pure Data patch. The GUI application uses a multitouch library written by Steffen Abel as part of his diploma thesis.
