AR[t] issue 5 (2014)

In May 2014, we published the fifth and final issue of the the AR[t] magazine. I was happy to once more act as the editor-in-chief. With AR[t] magazine series we want to inform the emerging AR community in and outside the Netherlands about AR, art and technology. The magazine was run by a small but dedicated team of researchers, artists and lecturers of the AR Lab (which was based at the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague), Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), and Leiden University. In AR[t], we share our interest in Augmented Reality (AR), discuss its applications in the arts and provide insight into the underlying technology. In this issue, I contributed an article about what augmented reality can learn from urban dance and, together with Jouke Verlinden, a portrait of the artist Theo Botschuijver.
